Spreading the news around the world ...
We had  then the message from  David Gahan :
"Hi, this is Dave, and I'm sitting in a café in New York, and I just wanted to say hi to all of you over there in Basildon, at the convention. Hope you're having a great time. Hopefully, by the end of this year, we'll have finished a new record, and we're gonna start recording in June. Martin's written some great songs already, and  I just wanted to say hi. And  we'll see you all again next year, when hopefully we'll be out on the road. All right. See ya, Bye".
The third surprise was the message from Martin

here it is  :
"Hello this is Martin. I'd like to welcome you all to wonderful Basildon. Sorry I can't be there, but as you can hear I'm in the studio at the moment, working on some new stuff with Gareth, and one of our friends, Paul. (um) And well I hope you all have a great time, and I'm sure you've got lots to do. I don't know if you've seen the sights yet - all those wonderful sights there are in Basildon - all those historic places. Anyway, have a great time and see you soon. Bye."

The other good thing was that in the background of his message we could hear a bass sound  , with a rythmn close to what was made with  OWILM …

let me show you the world in my eyes....

2 trousers from  de Mr Alan Wilder from  Get the Balance right were given, and one thrown in the crowd  the other given to a fan in the assistance ( one the of the DMMB members ) , nd the one thrown at the crowd , people fought over it and didn't want to lose grasp of until the end, so  Michaela had to take it back to avoid trouble , and it may be won over some other BONG contests …

At the end of the night some people were quite fast at  getting back the posters pinned on the wall and the famous promo cubes from the  Singles 86-98 which were near the stage  … isn't it  Céline? J

The rest of the night went well but at 1h00 am on Sunday all ended  , with a nice  Everything Counts at the end of which  Michaela Olexova thanked us to be there.

We also had the surprise at the end of the night to  live a fire alarm in which we had to get out of the hotel  … and there we were all together  in the cold , and to avoid being too cold we all started to sing  "Everything Counts" even when the firemen arrived ,they must have think we were crazy …
